About Us

For the past 45 years the name “Queensbury” has been synonymous with the supply of high quality passenger shelters. We have worked hard over this period of time to become one of the United Kingdom’s leading manufacturers of bus passenger shelters.

Queensbury was originally founded to manufacture Advertising Shelters for Adshel (now known as Clear Channel) and to this day we still supply Clear Channel with a number of it’s shelter ranges and seats. For the past thirty years we have supplied non – advertising shelters to the Local Authority Market across the UK.

Our shelter range has developed over time and we offer a wide variety of designs ranging from the traditional to the ultra modern. The ranges have been developed to integrate the modern features of today’s public transport requirements including RTPI, Mains and Solar Powered LED lighting, Advertising units and Help Points. In addition to bus shelters we also manufacture and install bespoke canopies, walkways, cycle canopies, legible city wayfinding signs and associated street furniture.

We have developed a wide Customer Base that includes Passenger Transport Executives such as Transport for Greater Manchester and Tyne and Wear Passenger Transport (Nexus), County Councils including North Yorkshire County Council, Hampshire County Council, Devon County Council, Wiltshire County Council and Essex County Council. Along with District, Borough, Town and Parish Councils.

Queensbury is an ISO9001:2008 Accredited Company, this quality management systems certification reflects the core values of the Queensbury business practice: designing and manufacturing shelters through excellence in management and procedures.
