We were pleased to be awarded the contract for supplying shelters from our G2 range for the new ECO town bus service at Whitehill and Bordon in Hampshire. The project involved co-ordinating the re-siting and refurbishment of existing shelters and the installation of new shelters along the new bus corridor. All works had to be completed before the opening of the bus service
- Circular mild steel framework
- 10mm toughened glass panels
- Screen printed manifestations on glass
- Stainless steel glazing system
- Bronze solid polycarbonate roof glazing
- Integral wooden seating
- Compatibility with real time information
- VIA solar powered LED lighting units
- New tarmac hardstandings
The shelter package, including work to the existing shelters, was planned to minimise disruption to the travelling public and to meet the requirements of the new bus service.
