Queensbury Shelters has a dedicated in-house shelter design and prototyping team with extensive experience in the design and manufacture of shelters, canopy structures and associated street furniture.
What we do
The design team works closely with both the sales and production sides of the business to ensure our clients’ requirements are met with high-quality design solutions that can be manufactured to the Queensbury standard. This approach is applied to both standard shelter designs and bespoke projects. The 2015 Construction (Design and Management) Regulations and our responsibilities and duties (as outlined) are taken into careful consideration at every stage of the design process.
How we do it
Using the Autodesk Product Design Suite software, our CAD files are modelled in both 2D and 3D. We also produce 3D visualisations to establish design concepts which can be presented for client approval and sign-off. Prototyping and proof testing are integral to our design process, ensuring our solutions are practical in relation to assembly and installation.
To ensure that all our designs meet the necessary requirements, we work closely with structural engineers and maintain strong relationships with associated businesses such as Real Time Passenger Information display suppliers.
Our extensive knowledge of materials, finishes and construction techniques ensures high-quality and durable design solutions are delivered for every project.
